Lakeside Cafe

The Cornell campus is uniquely beautiful in that it is heavily intertwined with and surrounded by nature. However, libraries and buildings are generally located away from the many gorges, lakes, and gardens on campus.

Lakeside Cafe is located along Beebe Lake and provides students with a space where they can study, work, or relax while experiencing the therapeutic benefits of being immersed in nature. The first floor provides several group and individual work spaces, while the second floor is dedicated to relaxation and comfortable seating overlooking the lake.

Hi! I'm Debbie. I am currently a student at Cornell University studying Design and Environmental Analysis.

I was born in Providence, Rhode Island and grew up in Massachusetts, Canada, and mostly New York and Korea. My interests lie in environmental art + design + psychology and immersive technologies, and I am currently exploring these disciplines and the direction I would like to pursue.
